Congratulations to June Wilson!

June Wilson receives the Window of Opportunity Award.Part of our family here at Grace, June Wilson has recently received The Window of Opportunity Award for over twenty years of service to Sojourners' Place, as a board member and a volunteer.

Sojourners' Place is an establishment whose mission is to assist homeless women and men on their journey to self-sufficiency through a case-managed, residential program. June has been a strong proponent of this program from its inception.

The family of Grace Church United Methodist congratulates June Wilson for her dedication to providing, as the motto states, "hope for the homeless, light for the journey."

You are invited to take part in this small group on Tuesday mornings in the Pavilion Lobby. Cards of support and encouragement are written for persons who are ill, going through difficult times, celebrating birthdays and other joyous celebrations, or just to say "we are thinking of you!" All are welcome; just show up ready to write!

  Join us for a time of food and fellowship!

Bring money for lunch (or your own food) and meet us in the Pavilion Lobby at 11:45am. Then we'll walk to different restaurants and have lunch at noon. You can even meet us there if it better fits your schedule! The restaurants are listed in the Spires, or you can contact Jeff Blackwell to find out more.
